About The Conduit Partnership

We're an independent advisory firm built specifically for UK owner-managed businesses.

Most advisors are career professionals. We're not. We've spent decades building, scaling and exiting businesses of our own which means we understand what's actually at stake when an owner sits across from us.

We work with three types of owner: those looking to raise capital, those planning an exit in the next one to three years, and those who want ongoing strategic input as they grow.

Whatever the engagement, the principle is the same honest advice, commercial execution, and a small handful of clients at any one time so yours gets the attention it deserves.

CONDUIT CAPITAL

Introductions to specialist finance for UK owner-managers. Acquisition funding, growth capital, refinancing, asset and invoice finance, and succession funding matched to the right lender, negotiated on the right terms.

CONDUIT EXIT

Sell-side advisory for UK owners planning a sale in the next one to three years. We tell you what your business is actually worth, prepare it properly, and run a managed process end to end.

CONDUIT BUSINESS ADVISORY

Ongoing strategic input for UK owner-managers focused on growth. Organic expansion, bolt-on acquisitions, operational improvements, and board-level thinking without the cost of a full-time director.

WHAT WE ARE EXPERT AT

Why Clients Choose Us

We've sat in your chair

Every advisor claims to understand owner-managers. We've actually been them building businesses from the ground up, taking them through capital events, negotiating our own exits. When we tell you something is achievable, or a deal is the wrong one, that judgement comes from experience, not a textbook.

We tell you what we actually think

We tell you what your business is actually worth. We tell you when now is the right time to sell, raise, or hold. We tell you when an offer should be walked away from. Owners don't always want to hear it but that's what honest advice sounds like.

We take on a small number of clients

Most advisory firms run on volume. We don't. We work with a small handful of owners at any one time, which means the person you meet at the outset is the person running your engagement throughout. No juniors, no handovers, no dropped threads.

Director's Thoughts

I started The Conduit Partnership because I spent the last decade on the other side of the table as the owner, not the advisor.

I raised capital when I needed to grow. I ran acquisitions. I sat through an exit process and learned, firsthand, how few advisors genuinely understood the commercial reality of what I was going through. Most gave textbook answers to problems that weren't textbook problems.

That's what Conduit is built to fix. Honest advice from people who've done it. Straight commercial judgement when you need a call made quickly. And a small number of clients at any one time so the owner sitting opposite me has my attention, not a junior's.

If that's the kind of advisor you're looking for, get in touch.
